Our Story
The Church At Whittier began in the unlikeliest of places—at Beverly Park—in Sunny Pico Rivera in December of 2022. We simply called our fellowship the Church of Pico Rivera.
We began by word-of-mouth and only met on Sundays at the park for a simple worship service, a bible study by Pastor Peter, and a quick lunch afterwards. As we met in this public park, a spirit of unity formed which grew the church week by week. Individuals were finding community, serving alongside one another, giving their lives to Christ, and sharing the love of God with their families and friends…
